I About Our Electrician Training Program
We believe the best way to learn is to do and that is exactly what you’ll be doing at SJ Technical Training. Whether it is learning about electrical theory, OSHA safety training or how to wire a home, you’ll be learning the skills you need to work as an electrician. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and prepared to become an electrician. The only way to become comfortable is to actually do something.
There is a lot more to being an electrician than wiring a home or installing some outlets. Our Electrician Training Program provides a comprehensive course curriculum that covers all aspects of the electrical field. In our programs, you will learn:
- Electrical Theory
- Load Calculation and Mathematics
- Intro to Motor Controls
- Motor Control II
- Advanced Control Wiring
- Intro to Pipe Bending
- Intro to Conduit Bending
- Conduit Bending II
- OSHA 10
- OSHA 30 (additional)
- Lock Out Tag Out Training
- Intro to Blueprint Reading
- Practical
- Hands-on Experience in Lab
- Intro to Customer Service for Residential Electricians

Day Electrician Classes
- 26-week course
- 350 total hours
- Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday class schedules
- Class hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Night Electrician Classes
- 30-week course
- 350 total hours
- Classes meet Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
- Class hours: 6:00PM to 9:30PM
