What Is an HVAC/R Apprenticeship Program?
Our apprenticeship program is built for HVAC professionals who want to grow in the field while gaining the knowledge and credentials needed to become a certified HVAC journeyman.
Through a combination of classroom instruction and real-world application, students will develop the technical expertise and confidence needed to succeed in today’s competitive industry.

Tuition Information
💡 Year 1 Tuition is FREE for qualified candidates

- Tuition value: $3,500 per year
- Available for partners and graduates of SJ Tech (inquire for details)
- Additional funding opportunities may be available through Workforce Development programs
How Do I Qualify?
To be eligible for the HVAC/R Apprenticeship Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass the CASAS exam with a qualifying score
- Be employed full-time in the HVAC field
- Work under the supervision of a licensed professional
- Have an employer or union sponsor
